About Me

I am a wife, mother, Christ believer, licensed Ohio minister, IPEC-certified wellness coach, speaker, and the founder of “THIS Is What MS Looks Like.” As an 18-year MS warrior, I’ve committed my life to educating, advocating, and inspiring individuals navigating this disease — particularly within communities that often go unheard.
My advocacy deepened when I discovered a 2015 medical study showing that only 0.2% of MS-focused research included African-Americans, despite representing a significant percentage of those living with MS. That realization pushed me to speak louder, reach further, and create safe spaces for education, empowerment, and early detection.
Each year, I lead MS Walk fundraising efforts, organize community outreach events, and speak at conferences, churches, and wellness seminars — offering hope, practical tools, and faith-centered encouragement. My passion is to help others strengthen their mindset, understand their bodies, and live fully in their God-given purpose.
I currently live in Ohio with my husband of nearly 23 years, Jerry, along with our three children and two grandchildren. My journey continues to be fueled by faith, resilience, and the belief that every story matters.
